The Sea Ray 350 Sundancer is a premium midcabin express from a company long known for its quality family cruisers. (Note that this is Sea Ray’s second 350 Sundancer model—the first was marketed from 2010–12 after being introduced in 2008 as the 330 Sundancer.) Below decks, Sea Ray offers two cabin layouts in the 350 Sundancer, one with wraparound forward seating and L-seating aft, the other (for overnighting and cruising) with a double berth forward and single berths aft. Our client had the double berth forward and was looking to upgrade their overnight stays. They decided on a 7″ latex mattress. The benefits of latex would be that the mattress is extremely comfortable, sleeps cool and is also mold and mildew resistant, which a fantastic quality for a boat. the mattress is topped with a quilted layer of bamboo, which is also antimicrobial. We did a custom mattress pad cover to protect the new mattress, custom sheets and a super comfortable duvet and 600 thread count duvet cover. The throw pillows add a great touch and a little pop of color to the classic navy bedding. A duvet and duvet cover is a very comfortable option of a bed cover. It is easy to wash and no need for an additional blanket. The duvet cover works well with this bed for tucking purposes. It has a nice finished look and offers both form and function. For a more tailored formal look, a quilted coverlet would be a good option. We always ask how the client is going to use the boat so we can help guide them to the best solution. We are confident that our clients will sleep well on their new custom mattress and bedding from YachtBedding.com. We have many retired patterns for Sea Ray boats as well as their new line up on file, so give us a call and see how we can help make your overnights aboard more enjoyable!
