The Carver Yacht brand is a well-established and expert shipyard which has been creating the finest in luxury cruising yachts for over 60 years. The heritage of Carver Yachts begins in 1954 when Charles Carver and George Verhagen began building mahogany-planked, -high-speed runabouts in a Milwaukee, Wisconsin garage. Their hobby turned into a business as word traveled about the high quality of their boats. By 1980 the company was acquired by new owners enabling an expansion beyond the Great Lakes region and Carver Yachts gained national recognition as luxury motor yacht leader.

We were able to help our clients out with new mattresses and some bedding for their 2001 Carver 53 Voyager. In their Forward Stateroom we did our 7-inch Latex Pillowtop Mattress in a medium firmness. We’ve taken our best-selling Admiral Pillowtop Mattress and have given it a sleek 7” profile that will accommodate almost any stateroom while giving you the comfort of a 9”. Close your eyes and you’ll swear you’re in the bed of a 5-star hotel. We turn the dial to 11 by constructing your mattress with a super comfy 4” (medium) Latex core. We then add 2” of ultra-soft latex Pillow Top and cover it in the plushest of bamboo quilting. The result is truly The Leader of the Fleet! The benefits of a latex mattress include being mold and mildew resistant, extremely comfortable, latex helps regulate body heat, which allows you to sleep cooler, and it will not absorb smells.

For the two smaller bunks they did our 7” Latex Mattresses, the difference between these and the Pillowtop is these do not have the top two inches of a softer latex on them. They also did a couple of the super popular Matouk Essex Sheet Sets for the bunks as well and loved everything they picked out.
