he 2018 Cutwater 30 is proof that a compact cruising boat can still deliver big comfort. Known for its clever use of space, sporty performance, and thoughtful details, the Cutwater 30 is designed for owners who want to explore without giving up the comforts of home. From weekend trips to longer adventures, this boat packs in sleeping areas that work hard and need to be both comfortable and easy to use.

For the Forward Berth, we created a complete Topper Sleep System that transforms the existing cushions into a true bed. We added a custom 3 inch Latex Topper made with 2 inches of soft latex and topped with 1 inch of plush bamboo quilting. Our Topper System was designed to increase comfort, make the task of making the bed easier, and keep your boat looking ship shape. The Topper sits directly on the existing cushions, our custom sheet set fits perfectly over the topper, and the custom quilted bedspread lays neatly on top. Making the bed is now a breeze, and it looks great whether you are turning in for the night or heading out for the day. We also have patterns on file for all new and retired Ranger Tug and Cutwater models, making this process seamless from start to finish.

To protect the Forward Berth, we added the Matouk Foundation Mattress Protector. Our Custom Mattress Protectors are designed to fit over the mattress like a fitted sheet and provide a washable layer of protection. Mattress protectors are intended to protect your Mattress and do not change the comfort, but this one adds a little extra luxury. Made with a plush down alternative and quilted in ultra smooth 520 thread count Ceylon percale, the Foundation mattress pad adds beautiful loft and a crisp, finished feel to the bed.

We finished the Forward Berth with a Gin and Bale Sheet Set, which includes a Fitted Sheet, Flat Sheet, and Two Standard Pillowcases. This 300 thread count Sateen is made from 100 percent cotton and has a soft feel with a subtle sheen. It is not overly silky, but it feels relaxed and comfortable, making it perfect for life on the water.

To complete the look, we added a Quilted Coverlet in our Palm Core Fabric. Our Quilted Coverlets are designed to keep the stateroom looking tidy while making the bed quick and easy. Each coverlet is custom fit to the bed, quilted with a medium weight batting, and finished with a piping trim edge and tailored drop for a beautiful, custom look.

One of the best features of the Cutwater 30 is the convertible dinette, which doubles as an extra sleeping area when needed. To make this space just as comfortable, we added a custom 3 inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper and another Gin and Bale Sheet Set. Our Gel Memory Goam Toppers are made with 2 inches of premium gel infused memory foam and topped with 1 inch of plush bamboo quilting for comfort and breathability. This Topper can also be upgraded with our Cool Max quilting, a premium phase change fabric quilted with an additional layer of memory foam gel for even better temperature control. When the dinette is not in use as a bed, everything can be easily stowed away, keeping the space clean and functional. The result is a Cutwater 30 that is ready for guests, weekend getaways, and spontaneous overnight trips, all with comfort that feels anything but small.
