They went with our top of line, the 9-inch Hāyväl mattress with a Hinge to have easy access underneath the bed. In a class of its own, Hāyväl is a boat mattress made with purpose. It is the world’s first custom natural mattress, made specifically for the marine environment. Hāyväl is a mattress free of polyurethane foams, chemical fire retardants, and as close to 100% organic as possible. The unique construction starts with a proprietary layered 6” organic latex base and is topped with a 2-inch extra plush natural Talalay Eurotop. The Hāyväl mattress is covered in Certified Organic Cotton and quilted with both natural cotton and natural Joma Wool from New Zealand. We use wool for several reasons; not only is it antimicrobial, and offers natural temperature control, but it also acts as a natural fire barrier. Inspired by some of the finest mattresses from Europe, The Hāyväl mattress is crafted by hand in Huntington Beach, California and is ready to find its way to your boat.
