Amel Maramu, known as Elegant World Cruiser, is no doubt one of its kind, designed by Henri Amel and Jacques Carteau. We did our custom mattress for this client. As I always like to mention, we can make any shape, size and material as per the choice of our customers but we specialize in Latex. We prefer to use latex because it is mold and mildew resistant, sleeps cool, very flexible so it’s easier to make the bed and get fitted sheets on and it also hold up very well against body impressions. Our most popular is our 7” Commodore. Constructed with a 6″ Latex core and covered in an ultra-soft bamboo quilting, this mattress is all about comfort. It is available is Soft, Medium firm and Firm. Another one is our top most 9-inch Admiral. It is made with a super comfy 6” (medium) Latex core, and then we add 2” of ultra-soft latex Pillow Top and cover it in the plushest of bamboo quilting. The result is one plush boat mattress.

Recently, we’ve taken our best-selling Admiral Pillow Top Mattress and have given it a sleek 7” profile that will accommodate almost any stateroom while giving you the comfort of a 9”.  We start constructing your mattress with a super comfy 4” (medium) Latex core. We then add 2” of ultra-soft latex Pillow Top and cover it in the plushest of bamboo quilting.  With several boat mattress and mattress topper options to choose from, we are able to create a sleeping solution to fit all budgets.

For this Amel Maramu, the client went with our 6-inch Hybrid mattress. The Hybrid Captain is an economical way to enjoy the comfort of Memory Foam and freshen up your stateroom. We start with a 3” base of hi-density polyurethane foam and add 2 inches of Memory Foam and cover it in our Cool Max quilting that allows you to sleep cool.  

Hinging is a great option when you have storage underneath the mattress, or want to be able to fold it in half for easy removal from the platform all together. We can add hinge to any mattress with no extra charge. Here, the mattress was hinged to not only make accessing storage under the bed easier, but to also access the emergency safely and easy.  Getting a great night of sleep on your boat has never been easier.  Each boat mattress we make is crafted custom in California and built to stand up to rigors of a marine environment.
