Dufour Yachts was founded in 1964 by engineer and racing sailor Michel Dufour. Michel Dufour launched the first series of boats Sylphe. By 1990s, Dufour Yachts began to push the limits of production boat building with the launch of bigger and bigger “Prestige” models. Each was bigger, faster, and more luxurious than the model that came before. Some examples are Dufour 56, 64 etc. And while the company made big news with its bigger and bigger models, the designs that Dufour was always known for—sporty, fast, stylish, 30-to-40-footers—continued to be improved as well. Dufour 520 is one of those remarkable models. 520 was named Cruising World Magazine Boat of the Year.

 

We did toppers, sheets, fleece blankets and coverlets throughout this Dufour 520. Our toppers are custom made using a 2” layer of soft latex thick to provide a plush layer of comfort and are made from the same materials as our mattresses. We custom make the topper to fit your existing mattress and include a nonslip underling to keep everything in place. Our 600 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets are a must to go with our topper. Our sheets are sold as a set including a fitted sheet, flat sheet and matching pillowcases.

 

For the bedding, we used our custom quilted coverlets for this client. Our coverlets fit the size of your bed, are quilted with a medium weight batting, have a piping trim edge and a drop to complete the custom look. We used our Sugarcane fabric that adds a modern touch and sleek look to the room.
