The Sea Ray 310 Sundancer was designed for upscale boaters looking for a quality midsize express. With her striking profile and luxury accommodations, she is a well-crafted boat—better finished than previous Sea Ray models with first- rate appliances and furnishings. When the 310 was introduced in 1998, she came with an unusual floorplan that required those using the forward kidney-shaped berth to climb over the circular dinette seat. Sea Ray revised the interior in 1999, replacing it with a more conventional layout with an angled double berth forward and a conventional dinette with facing seats.
After 16 years, our client’s interior was showing signs of age with spots and stains that couldn’t be removed with elbow grease. We decided to remove all the upholstery around the mattress and recover it with Sunbrella Sailcloth Sahara. After consulting with members of the Sea Ray Owners Forum on Facebook, removing the 2 valances and 2 bolsters was a breeze. We redid the slip cover for the mattress, also using Sunbrella Sailcloth Sahara. We decided to do an offset box quilt on the slip cover to give the mattress more depth. The client’s own pillows added a nice pop of color for the picture. This Sea Ray 310 Sundancer is one of over 700 different boats that we have on file for mattresses, sheets, and bedding.
