Uniflite was founded in Bellingham, Washington in 1957. The company is known as a maker of recreational powerboats, although its initial products were small fiberglass runabouts. Their designs were conservatively styled, Uniflites were known to be well-built boats with high production standards compared with most competitive models. The company is no longer in business since 1994. We did a custom mattress for this Uniflite customer. We make everything custom, any size, any shape and any material but we specialize in Latex. It is a great material for marine with awesome benefits. Latex is mold and mildew resistant, extremely comfortable, helps regulate body heat, which allows you to sleep cooler, it is bendable, breathable and does not absorb smell. Available in Soft, Medium Firm and Firm. Here you see our 7” full Latex mattress we call Commodore. The Commodore is by and far our most popular model. Constructed with a 6″ Latex core and covered in an ultra-soft bamboo quilting, this mattress is all about comfort. As you can see, there is a hinge added to this mattress. A hinge is a great option if you want to access storage underneath or take the mattress on and off the platform all together. We can add hinge to your mattress at no additional cost. With several boat mattress and mattress topper options to choose from, we are able to create a sleeping solution to fit all budgets. If you like a plush mattress, then I would recommend to check out our 9” Admiral Latex mattress on our website. It is constructed with a super comfy 6” (medium) Latex core. We then add 2” of ultra-soft latex Pillow Top and cover it in the plushest of bamboo quilting. The result is one super plush luxury mattress. We do offer an economical option with our Hybrid 6” mattress to enjoy the comfort of Latex and freshen up your stateroom. We start with a 3” base of hi density polyurethane foam and add 2 inches of soft latex and cover it in our plush bamboo quilting. It’s the perfect choice for guest bunks and crew quarters. Each boat mattress we make is crafted custom in California and built to stand up to rigors of a marine environment. We have more than 1000 boat patterns on file. Feel free to contact us with all your boat bedding needs and our team along with our designer will be happy to assist you in transforming your stateroom in a STATEMENT ROOM.
