Mikelson 50 Sportfisher is an innovative West Coast cruiser whose sleek, low profile appearance and spacious interior set her apart from every other boat her size. Offered with two or three staterooms, the interior dimensions rival those of a larger boat.

 

We did a custom mattress and mattress pad cover for this client. We make everything to order and can do any size, shape and material but always recommend Latex. Latex is very supportive because it’s a high-pressure material that pushes back against you and offers a traditional, spring like feel. Memory foam and Polyurethane foam do not offer the same support or comfort of latex. Along with this, latex is mold and mildew resistant, extremely comfortable, helps regulate body heat, which allows you to sleep cooler, and it will not absorb smells. For this client, we offered our newly introduced 7” pillow top latex mattress. We have actually taken our best-selling Admiral Pillow Top Mattress and have given it a sleek 7” profile that will accommodate almost any stateroom while giving you the comfort of a 9”. 

 

We start by constructing your mattress with a super comfy 4” (medium) Latex core. We then add 2” of ultra-soft latex Pillow Top and cover it in the plushest of bamboo quilting. Each boat mattress we make is crafted custom in California and built to stand up to rigors of a marine environment. Also, we can add a hinge to your mattress at no additional cost to you. Hinging is a great option when you have storage underneath the mattress, or want to be able to fold it in half for easy removal from the platform all together as you can see in the image here.
