An elegant and distinguished design by Garroni lends the Prestige 550 an even longer line and a stronger identity. With its contemporary interior, it is innovative in its cabin design, as well as design details for comfort and luxury and it affords an exceptional panoramic view. The exceptional savoir-faire of Prestige is also to marry artisanal luxury with high technology to offer the most innovative equipment and furnishings in terms of engine technology, fuel consumption and safety at sea.

In Florida we got to work with clients on their 2016 Prestige 550 and the results were amazing. The Master stateroom got our 9” Hāyväl mattress. It is the world’s first custom natural mattress, made specifically for the marine environment. Hāyväl is a mattress free of polyurethane foams, chemical fire retardants, and as close to 100% organic as possible. The unique construction starts with a proprietary layered 6” organic latex base and topped with a 2” extra plush natural Talalay Eurotop. The Hāyväl mattress is covered in Certified Organic Cotton and quilted with both natural cotton and natural Joma Wool from New Zealand. We use wool for a number of reasons; not only is it antimicrobial, and offers natural temperature control, it also acts as a natural fire barrier. Sticking with our top of the line Hāyväl products they chose our Hāyväl Cadiz sheet set and Shams and our amazing Hāyväl Ivory Blanket. We did a Tuscany Denim fabric Duvet Cover with an duvet insert and throw pillows to match.

In the Forward we did a Hāyväl mattress as well. They wanted Matouk Essex sheets with our Interlaken Matelasse Blanket and Quilted Coverlet in our Carnival fabric with matching Standard Shams and a 14 x 24 inch pillow in our Claret fabric.

The guest room got an upgrade with Hāyväl mattresses. The client picked out Matouk Essex sheets for this stateroom and our Interlaken Matelasse Blanket. We did Quilted Coverlets in our Horizon Sunset fabric with matching Standard Shams and a couple of our Maui Reef fabric throw pillows. The Crew beds needed some love too, so we did our 7” Latex Pillowtop Mattresses with Matouk Essex sheets and our Interlaken Matelasse Blanket. We finished these beds off with a throw pillow in our Reef fabric. It all made for a great look and the clients couldn’t wait to try out the new beds.
