ecently we were able to make custom bedding for a 2022 Prestige 590 located in San Diego. For the Aft Primary stateroom the customer chose a 9” Hāyväl Organic Pillowtop Mattress. Exclusive to yachtbedding.com, Hāyväl is a mattress free of polyurethane foams, chemical fire retardants, and as close to 100% organic as possible. The unique construction starts with a proprietary layered 6” organic latex base and topped with a 2” extra plush natural Talalay Eurotop. The Hāyväl mattress is covered in Certified Organic Cotton and quilted with both natural cotton and natural Joma Wool from New Zealand.

To protect the mattress the customer chose the Matouk Foundation Mattress Pad. Made with a plush down alternative and quilted in ultra-smooth 520 thread count of Ceylon percale it adds luxurious loft and crisp comfort to the mattress. It’s machine washable and protects the mattress over time. For the top of bed the customer chose an incredibly smooth and lightweight 200 thread count Bergamo Giza Egyptian cotton percale sheet set in Matouk Louise. To add warmth during the colder days, the Matouk Petra Coverlet is a classic matelassé diamond design with incredible style and sophisticated color in Steel Blue, that adds a visually comforting look to the bed.

For the Forward VIP, the customer chose a 9” Gel Memory Foam Pillowtop Mattress. Our Nu Memory Foam is a slow recovery just like traditional memory foam. Nu Memory foam breaks away from you, conforming to your body, giving you that sinking/hugging feel that memory foam is famous for. To protect the mattress a Matouk Foundation Mattress Pad was used on this bed along with a Matouk Louise Sheet Set in Silver. To add some color for this stateroom we chose the Interlaken Matelasse in Ink. It’s modern chic and effortlessly casual as a well-dressed bed.
