There have been several 340 Sundancer models is the Sea Ray line up in recent years, each of which has dominated the market in sales and owner popularity. The sleek styling of the 340 Sundancer was a match for the best European sport boats of her day. The elegant open interior is a rich blend of dark cherrywood cabinets, earth tone wall coverings, a posh ultra-leather upholstery. Like most of our clients, this project we did was for one of our repeat customer. We did their mattress and bedding a while ago. This time they needed bow cushions for sunbathing. We did a neutral Sunbrella fabric, dry fast foam and created a built-in headrest.
2022 UPDATE:
Since we first posted these photos and blog back in 2018 we have received numerous inquiries regarding bow cushions. As we have grown as a company over the years and the demand for our custom mattresses and bedding has increased worldwide, we are no long able to offer upholstery services. We do however offer these tips when shopping around for custom bow cushion. 1) Make sure dry fast foam is being used. Regular polyurethane foam will grow mold if saturated with water. 2)Use some sort of performance fabric, either solution dyed acrylic like Sunbrella or Outdura or a marine grade vinyl. 3) Make sure the fabric on the underside of is something like textilene that will promote air low and allow the dry fast foam to dry quickly. And most importantly 4) To best extend the life of your bow cushion keep it out of the sun when your boat is not being used.
