he Sun Odyssey 40 DS is a raised-saloon boat designed for two-couple cruising. The boat is an interesting combination of both performance and comfort features. Typical of Jeanneau yachts, the deck is beautifully tooled and sculpted. The interior in plan form is conventional with a double berth forward, double quarter berth aft and two heads. There is the option of a single quarter berth to starboard just aft of the galley.

Our 7” Pillow top was a perfect choice for a blend of comfort and headroom. This particular boat mattress is made using a base of our Nu Memory Foam and the pillow top remained our soft Latex. A great blend for those who like the feel of memory foam and luxury of a pillow top. As you can see we hinged it down the center for ease of removal to get at equipment beneath and contoured it for all of the angels and indents of the berth. Putting one of our mattress pad covers on the top to protect the mattress from spills and stains is a smart choice.
