The Hatteras 72 Motor Yacht embodies classic American yacht design. With its strong profile and refined interior craftsmanship, this vessel represents the perfect balance of power and luxury. Every detail, from the rich wood cabinetry to the expansive staterooms, reflects Hatteras’s long standing reputation for comfort and quality. Our team was brought in to work on a 2008 Hatteras 72 Motor Yacht and create custom bedding throughout, giving each cabin a fresh, cohesive look that complements the yacht’s timeless character.

We began in the Aft Master Stateroom, where comfort takes center stage. The client selected a 9-inch Latex Pillow Top mattress with a medium density and a hinge for easy access underneath offering the ideal combination of plush comfort and support. To add protection and long-term durability we included our Waterproof Mattress Protector, which helps maintain a clean sleep surface. The bed was finished with our Gin and Bale Sheet Set and king pillowcases, bringing a crisp, classic foundation to the space.

In the VIP Port Stateroom, the design followed the same elegant direction. We added another 9-inch Latex Pillow Top in the same density with a hinge, again paired with the Waterproof Mattress Protector and Gin and Bale sheets with standard pillowcases. The soft white tones elevated the room, brightening the interior and creating a polished, cohesive flow from one stateroom to the next.

The VIP Forward Cabin received the same thoughtful attention to detail. The 9-inch Latex Pillow Top mattress provided exceptional comfort, while the Waterproof Mattress Protector ensured easy maintenance and long-lasting freshness. The matching Gin and Bale Sheet Set completed the clean, inviting look, maintaining consistency across every guest space.

For the Guest Bottom Bunk, the owners chose to remove the top bunk to open up the area and make the cabin feel more spacious. We designed a 7-inch medium density Latex mattress that fit perfectly within the custom dimensions of the space. The same Waterproof Mattress Pad and Gin and Bale Sheet Set were added, tying the look together with the rest of the yacht.

Throughout the yacht, the new bedding design reflects a seamless blend of practicality and understated elegance. Each stateroom now feels comfortable, coordinated, and true to the classic Hatteras aesthetic.
