The Carver Yacht brand is a well-established and expert shipyard which has been creating the finest in luxury cruising yachts for over 60 years. The heritage of Carver Yachts begins in 1954 when Charles Carver and George Verhagen began building mahogany-planked, -high-speed runabouts in a Milwaukee, Wisconsin garage. Their hobby turned into a business as word traveled about the high quality of their boats. By 1980 the company was acquired by new owners enabling an expansion beyond the Great Lakes region and Carver Yachts gained national recognition as luxury motor yacht leader.

Out in San Diego we worked with clients on their 2009 Carver 36 Mariner, and this is what we did for them. In the Forward Stateroom we did a 7” Latex Mattress in a Medium Firm density. Constructed with a 6″ Latex core and covered in an ultra-soft bamboo quilting, The Commodore IS comfort. The benefits of a latex mattress include being mold and mildew resistant, extremely comfortable, latex helps regulate body heat, which allows you to sleep cooler, and it is bendable and breathable. Available in Soft, Medium Firm and Firm. We did a Mattress Protector to add a layer of protection for the new mattress and even added a Waterproofing material to help make it more water resistant. They also picked out aMatouk Essex Sheet Set with just 2 fitted sheets and 2 sleeping pillowcases instead of a flat sheet. The bed was refreshed, and they were ready to get some good sleep out on the ocean.
