The Gran Turismo 41 is the latest model to join Beneteau’s express cruiserline, and she presents herself as the ultimate powerplay for those looking to dominate the water in style. Adventurous and spacious, she combines sport and relaxation to master a fresh new model where limits simply do not exist. Whether it’s her boast-worthy speed, racy head-turning lines, or her many inviting social spaces, this feature-rich cruiser offers endless opportunities for entertainment and enjoyment on the water. South Coast Yachts in San Diego presented us with clients of a 2022 Beneteau Gran Turismo 41 and we set them up with some amazing bedding.

We had to make sure their Forward was nice and comfortable. They picked out a 9” latex pillow top mattress. One of our most beloved mattresses, we construct this mattress with a super comfy 6” latex core, these customers choose a medium firmness for the base. We then add 2” of ultra-soft latex pillow top and cover it in the plushest of bamboo quilting. The benefits of a latex mattress include being mold and mildew resistant, extremely comfortable, latex helps regulate body heat, which allows you to sleep cooler, and it will not absorb smells. They went with a mattress pad cover for some extra protection for their new mattress. The luxurious Matouk Lowell Sheet Set in Navy that they chose is an iconic best-selling style. It is a 600 thread count Milano Egyptian cotton percale sheet with a 1” sateen tape border. The Matouk Augusta Navy blanket adds effortless elegance. We did a quilted coverlet in an amazing woven performance fabric from Stout in their Terrazo fabric, which is indoor and outdoor safe, flame retardant, hand washable, and extremely durable. We did some Standard Shams in Stout as well in the fabric Barnette and added a 14×24” throw pillow in Stout Gaffney fabric to finish up this bed.

The Aft Bunks got 7” latex pillow top mattresses in medium firm with mattress pad covers, keeping the plushness but adding a little more head room than the 9” pillow top. We kept it clean and simple with Matouk Essex sheet sets in white with our amazing Interlaken blanket in Navy. With did the same Stout performance fabric for the bunks’ coverlets with the same Stout Standard Shams we did in the Forward, one for each bunk. Finished the bunks off with the same Stout 14×24” throw pillows, one on each bed. The bunks also have an insert that make it into one large bed. For the insert we did a 7” latex pillow top insert to stay consistent with the 7” mattresses we did. We also did a mattress pad cover, a fitted and flat Matouk Essex sheet, and our Interlaken blanket all to fit over the insert and mattresses when using the bed as one large bed. This customer was off and ready to go in their Beneteau.
