Californian 48 Mattress

Custom Californian 48 Mattress

Californian 48 Cockpit Motor yacht is known for its quality construction and a well-executed interior. A comfortable cruising boat with traditional lines, two interior layouts were available with the variations forward of the salon. One includes an island double berth in the forward stateroom, while the other has over/under single bunks more suitable for the kids. The interior woodwork of early 48’s was dark walnut, after 1988 Californian changed to teak woodwork. We love the loyalty of our customers.

This is an image of California 48, repeat client who asked for the same mattress he used for his last boat, Admiral 9” pillow top latex mattress. It is composed with a 6-inch soft medium latex core and then we add our ultra-soft 2-inch pillow top. All our mattresses are then wrapped in our bamboo quilting to finish off the look. You can choose and go for any material you desire and we can constitute your mattress or topper with it. The reason we suggest Latex to our customers because it is 100 percent mold and mildew resistant and we all know how crucial that can be in a marine environment. Also, it is breathable, bendable, which makes it easy to fold and get into tighter spaces and helps regulate body heat so you sleep cooler at night.

We present a variety of bedding styles. Quilted coverlets, silken coverlets, matelassé, duvets, blankets and throws all can be made in your own personalize design. Also, our custom sheet sets are quite popular too including our Redland sheets, Supima sheets and our all-time favorite Sferra sheets. Don’t forget to flip through our Fabrics. We are really excited about our new interesting and elegant addition of new Fabrics to our existing collection. You can view them on our website and let us know of your favorite picks and we can send swatches your way.

Yachtbedding.com team is always bringing something new for our shoppers to entice up our collection and offer better quality products and services.
