Custom Mattress and Bedding for a Beneteau Oceanis 38.1

Loyal to the spirit of this earlier generation and in the tradition of the 38.1, the Beneteau Oceanis 35.1 combines performance and comfort at sea. The Oceanis 35.1 interiors have been rethought and their exteriors redesigned, delivering significant developments and offering a choice of four versions in all.

Designed to suit a variety of sailing programs and increasingly different lifestyles on board, the Oceanis 35.1 is available respectively in 4 versions with various layouts: number of cabins and bathrooms, modularity of the salon, choice of galley, storage capacity, etc. For the Italian design team, the challenge was to multiply the living space in the salon and offer greater privacy in the master cabin, while maintaining the visual perspective that her opening to the bow offered in previous versions. The new L-shaped galley makes a facing seat salon arrangement possible. The space has been well optimized to allow eight people to sit around the table. For anyone who prefers a more contemporary version, a long galley layout is still available.

These Coronado based clients opt to use the Aft Stateroom as there Master Suite and wanted a complete upgrade in all aspects. Starting with our finest Custom 6” Organic Latex Pillow Top Mattress, 6” was chosen to keep headroom at a maximum. We use an Organic Latex base in Soft to Firm and then add a super soft 2” Talalay Latex and 1” Jorma Wool comfort quilting for the pillow top. All of this is encased in natural unbleached cotton making the entire mattress Organic. It’s a practically perfect mattress for those who have any allergy issues.

This Aft Stateroom has a unique small section of mattress that we always make as a separate piece of mattress and cover in the coverlet fabric to match. If you have this boat you know exactly what I’m speaking of. These clients kept going with the best of the best for the linens over our mattress pad cover. Matouk’s newest collections were used to create an Italian Linen haven on this bed. Matouk’s Louise Hazy Blue Sheet Set are sumptuous 100% Egyptian Cotton and pair perfectly with Matouk’s Quincy Hazy Blue Shams, a fun and bold tiger print.

We used a combination of two different blankets, one a Summer weight and one a Winter weight. This is such good idea for those who can use their boat year round. The Summer weight blanket is Matouk’s newest Brocatelle Blue, this has a beautiful Art Deco arch design and is super soft. The Winter weight blanket is Sferra’s Giottino White, this is keeping in the Italian Linen family and feels like silk. Topping off the bed and creating a clean yet comfortably inviting look is our Quilted Coverlet in Indulge Indigo and, again, the same fabric was used to cover the extra piece. A Matouk Nocturne Navy Boudoir Pillow finishes off this ultra luxurious form head to toe Aft Master Stateroom. We love and so did these wonderful clients!
