The L550 is a motor yacht of exceptional beauty and sophistication. We got the chance to do all new mattresses and sheets for this Sea Ray L550 client. We prefer to use Latex because its mold and mildew resistant, it sleeps cool, it is very flexible so it’s easier to make the bed and get fitted sheets on, and it also holds up very well against body impressions.

Custom Boat Mattress: 7″ Commodore

We have used our 7” Commodore for the bunks here. The Commodore is by and far our most popular model.  Constructed with a 6″ Latex core and covered in an ultra-soft bamboo quilting, this mattress is all about comfort. It is available in Soft, Medium Firm and Firm. The mattress you see in the main cabin is our top most 9” Admiral. If you like a plush mattress, then the Admiral is for you. It is made with a super comfy 6” (medium) Latex core. We then add 2” of ultra-soft latex Pillow Top and cover it in the plushest of bamboo quilting.  Each boat mattress we make is crafted custom in California and built to stand up to rigors of a marine environment. With several boat mattress and mattress topper options to choose from, we are able to create a sleeping solution to fit all budgets.

Also, we can hinge all our mattresses. It can be seen in one the images here how easy it folds and you don’t see or feel the hinge at all. Hinging is a great option when you have storage underneath the mattress, or want to be able to fold it in half for easy removal from the platform all together.

We always recommend our customers to get our custom sheets along with our mattresses. Comfortable, well-fitting sheets in your state room are a must. They provide a manicured look for your bedding, ease in making the bed and a great night’s rest.

Our 600 Thread Count long staple cotton sheets are available in four colors and custom fit for your yacht mattress configuration. Each set includes a flat sheet, fitted sheet with matching pillowcases.
