he 2004 Ocean Alexander 64 is a yacht built with intention, craftsmanship, and the kind of thoughtful layout that makes extended cruising feel effortless. This model is especially known for its generous midship accommodations, wide beam, and solid construction that Ocean Alexander owners have trusted for decades. With a design that balances classic elegance and practical livability, the Ocean Alexander 64 offers true comfort for owners and guests alike, making the midship staterooms an important part of the onboard experience.

For this yacht, we created two custom 7 inch Latex Pillowtop Mattresses with a medium density base for the midship bunks. These mattresses were designed to maximize comfort while fitting perfectly within the unique dimensions of the berths. The goal was to deliver a true luxury sleep experience without sacrificing space or functionality.

Each mattress features a sleek 7 inch profile that easily accommodates most staterooms while delivering the comfort you would expect from a much thicker mattress. Close your eyes and you would swear you are in a five star hotel bed. We turn the dial to 11 by building each mattress with a super comfortable 4 inch medium latex core that provides both support and durability. On top of that, we add 2 inches of ultra soft latex pillow top to create a plush, pressure relieving surface. The entire mattress is finished with our plush bamboo quilting, giving it a soft, breathable, and inviting feel.

Latex is an ideal material for the marine environment. It is naturally mold and mildew resistant, extremely comfortable, and helps regulate body heat so you sleep cooler through the night. It also will not absorb odors, which is especially important onboard. Each boat mattress is crafted to fit the exact size and shape of your berth, ensuring a clean and seamless installation. All of our mattresses are custom built in California and engineered to stand up to the rigors of life at sea. If your berth includes hard to access storage underneath, we can add a hinge to your mattress at no additional cost, making daily use simple and practical.
