With its bright interior, well-proportioned staterooms, and efficient use of space, the Horizon 51 offers an ideal platform for extended time on the water. Custom bedding is one of the easiest ways to bring a fresh, refined look to a yacht of this era and it makes a major difference in both appearance and onboard comfort. We worked with a client on their 2001 Horizon 51 and upgraded all sleeping areas with new custom mattresses to create a uniform level of comfort and support throughout the boat.

In the Forward Stateroom, the owners selected a custom 9 inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress. This mattress is shaped precisely to fit the berth. We construct your mattress with a super comfy 6” Medium Density Latex core. We then add 2” of Gel Memory Foam for a Pillow Top and cover it in the plushest of bamboo quilting. The result is truly The Leader of the Fleet! The clean fit gives the stateroom a smooth, finished look. The same comfort upgrade was added to the Port Stateroom, where another custom 9 inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress. was installed to match the quality of the forward cabin and provide a consistent sleeping experience for guests.

We also outfitted the two Starboard Bunks with custom 9 inch Gel Memory Foam Mattresses. These beds often have more challenging shapes and tighter clearances, so a perfectly fitted mattress makes a noticeable difference. The new mattresses improved both comfort and appearance, giving the bunk space a more tailored and cohesive feel. Across all staterooms, the upgraded mattresses modernized the interior and provided the kind of restorative sleep that makes cruising more enjoyable.
