he Prestige 460 Fly is one of those boats that instantly feels like a floating condo with a view. With its wide beam, open flybridge, and bright, modern interior, this model was designed for owners who love to entertain, cruise comfortably, and spend real time on the water. The layout is smart and flexible, especially in the staterooms, which makes it a perfect boat for families, guests, or couples who want options without sacrificing comfort. For this Prestige 460 Fly, we upgraded both the Forward VIP Stateroom and the Master Stateroom with Custom Mattresses and bedding designed to make every night on board feel like a hotel stay, only better.

The Forward VIP Stateroom is one of the most versatile spaces on this boat, and we leaned into that flexibility. We created two Custom 7 inch Latex Mattresses in a firm density, each constructed with a 6 inch latex core and finished with ultra soft bamboo quilting for what we call The Commodore IS comfort. Latex is a dream material for boats because it is naturally mold and mildew resistant, incredibly comfortable, and helps regulate body heat so you sleep cooler. It is also bendable and breathable, which is key for marine berths. These mattresses are available in Soft, Medium Firm, and Firm, and for this project, firm was the perfect choice to give great support in a space that may be used in more than one configuration.
This VIP bed can swing apart to create two separate twin beds or come together as one large bed, so we made sure the bedding worked just as hard as the design. We created two smaller Waterproof Mattress Protectors so each mattress can be protected when used separately, and we also made one larger Waterproof Mattress Protector for when the beds are pushed together to feel like one cohesive sleep surface. It is the kind of detail that makes life on board easier without anyone even noticing.

We finished the VIP bed with a Gin and Bale Sheet Set, which includes a Fitted Sheet, Flat Sheet, and Two Standard Pillowcases. Made from 100 Percent Cotton in a 300 thread count Sateen, these sheets have a soft feel and a subtle sheen. They are not overly silky, but they feel relaxed, breathable, and comfortable, perfect for cruising in any climate. We also created smaller sheet sets for the two separate beds, which can still be used when the beds are pushed together as one larger berth. Flexibility was the name of the game here.

In the Master Stateroom, we installed the same 7 inch Latex Mattress for a consistent sleep experience throughout the boat. We added a complementary hinge to the mattress for easy access to storage underneath, a must have in any yacht stateroom. The Master also received the same waterproof mattress protector and Gin and Bale Sheet Set, creating a cohesive look and feel from bow to stern. The result is a Prestige 460 Fly that is ready for anything, from a quiet weekend getaway to a full house of guests, all with beds that are comfortable, practical, and beautifully finished.
